The North Texas reality

What Oklahoma's red clay and weather swings do to a yard

Oklahoma City sits on dense, clay-heavy soil that bakes hard through triple-digit summers and turns to muck after a storm — either way, dog waste sits on top of the lawn instead of breaking down. In the heat, the odor builds within a day and the waste draws flies and fire ants while spreading bacteria and parasites across the grass. OKC's wild weather swings, from summer heat to winter ice, only stretch out how long waste lingers between do-it-yourself cleanups. Regular professional scooping keeps a yard usable no matter what the season throws at it.

What's included

Everything you need, nothing extra.

Weekly service is the standard for most OKC homes and keeps multi-dog yards in check through the long summer. A single dog or a smaller lot often does fine every other week. And when you need a one-time reset after a move or a stretch of travel, we clear the whole yard in one visit. No contracts, first cleanup free.

Oklahoma City specifics

Oklahoma City homeowner questions, answered.

My OKC neighborhood has a gate code or a locked side yard. How do you handle access?

Leave your gate code or latch instructions at signup and we keep them on file. Our crews close and latch every gate before leaving, and you get a confirmation text after each visit.

What happens during OKC storms or winter ice?

We work through normal heat and light rain. When severe storms, lightning, hail, or an ice event make the yard unsafe, we reschedule to the next available day — never a skipped visit, and never an extra charge.

How do you dispose of the waste under OKC rules?

We bag all waste and dispose of it per City of Oklahoma City sanitation guidelines, keeping it out of storm drains and creeks. On request we seal it and place it in your cart for normal pickup.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

How much does a scooper service cost?

Plans start at $16.99/week (1 dog) for our Basic tier, $23.99/week for Fresh (includes deodorizing + photo confirmation), and $34.99/week for Premium (twice-weekly option, lawn treatment, and more). All plans add ~$2–3 per additional dog. Your first cleanup is always free.

How does billing work?

You are billed monthly. We calculate your rate as your weekly visit price × 4.33 weeks — the same consistent method used across the industry. No surprises, no per-visit fluctuation.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Every plan is month-to-month. You can start, pause, or cancel any time directly in your customer portal or by calling our office.

Does 101 Scoop clean the entire yard?

101 Scoop cleans any area of your yard that contains dog waste: front, back, and side yards, runs, and plant/flower beds.

Can I request a specific day for my service?

Yes. During signup you can request a specific day. We cannot guarantee every day is available, but we offer as many options as possible to fit your schedule.

Will you notify me before my service?

Yes. You receive a text when a team member is en route. On our Fresh and Premium plans you also get a photo of the completed job after every visit.

What is the difference between the Fresh and Basic plans?

Basic gives you a thorough weekly scoop and a gate-closed confirmation text. Fresh adds a deodorize-and-sanitize treatment, a photo after every visit, and priority scheduling — for about $7 more per week. Most customers find Fresh is the obvious value once they see the difference.
