Dog waste removal — frequently asked questions.

101 Scoop offers weekly residential dog waste removal starting at $16.99/week per dog, with no contracts, a free first cleanup, and text + photo confirmation after every visit — serving DFW and the Oklahoma City metro since 2019.

How much does a scooper service cost?

Plans start at $16.99/week (1 dog) for our Basic tier, $23.99/week for Fresh (includes deodorizing + photo confirmation), and $34.99/week for Premium (twice-weekly option, lawn treatment, and more). Extra dogs add just a few dollars a week. Your first cleanup is always free.

How does billing work?

You're billed once a month at your weekly rate — same amount every month, no per-visit surprises. Extra dogs add just a few dollars a week.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Every plan is month-to-month. You can start, pause, or cancel any time directly in your customer portal or by calling our office.

Does 101 Scoop clean the entire yard?

101 Scoop cleans any area of your yard that contains dog waste: front, back, and side yards, runs, and plant/flower beds.

Can I request a specific day for my service?

Yes. During signup you can request a specific day. We cannot guarantee every day is available, but we offer as many options as possible to fit your schedule.

Will you notify me before my service?

Yes. You receive a text when a team member is en route. On our Fresh and Premium plans you also get a photo of the completed job after every visit.

What is the difference between the Fresh and Basic plans?

Basic gives you a thorough weekly scoop and a gate-closed confirmation text. Fresh adds a deodorize-and-sanitize treatment, a photo after every visit, and priority scheduling — for about $7 more per week. Most customers find Fresh is the obvious value once they see the difference.

Is a pooper scooper service worth the cost?

For most pet owners, yes. A weekly 101 Scoop visit runs about $16.99/week — roughly $74/month. That covers scoop, haul-away, gate-closed confirmation, and (on Fresh/Premium) a deodorize treatment and photo after every visit. North Texas summer heat makes DIY cleanup genuinely unpleasant; most customers say the time and comfort savings pay for themselves within the first month.

How much does dog waste removal cost for 2 dogs?

Two dogs cost just a few dollars more per week on any plan. A Basic two-dog household pays roughly $19–20/week; Fresh runs about $26–27/week. Exact pricing is confirmed during signup and shows up on your monthly bill.

Can I book a one-time dog poop cleanup without a subscription?

Yes. 101 Scoop offers one-time yard cleanups with no plan required. A one-time visit resets a yard that built up during travel, a home sale, or a long busy stretch. Sign up through the Sweep&Go portal and select a one-time visit instead of a recurring plan.

What should I do if my yard has a locked gate or HOA access rules?

Enter your gate code, lock combination, or latch instructions during signup. The team keeps them on file securely and closes and latches every gate before leaving. You receive a gate-closed confirmation text after each visit as proof.

Do you scoop during bad weather — heat, rain, or storms?

Yes, in all normal weather including Texas heat and light rain. When lightning, hail, or a severe storm makes conditions unsafe, the visit is rescheduled to the next available day that same week — never skipped and never an extra charge.

Are 101 Scoop crews background checked?

Yes. Every team member clears a background and driving-record check before their first yard visit. Equipment and boots are disinfected between every property to prevent the spread of parasites and bacteria between yards.
